RIWA Straßenkontrolle for Android

For more than a decade, the Road Safety Agency (German: STÜ) has been developing and implementing a system of control units in the German motorway and main road network. The control units, which are based on the technology of radar and connected to the police, enable the police to keep an eye on the entire road network and to monitor and identify the location of traffic accidents, in order to ensure the safety of traffic and the quality of life of the people.

The goal of this project is to develop a mobile application that makes it easier for the police to perform their duties and that makes it easier for the public to report traffic accidents. The application is designed for Android devices and is compatible with the Android version 4. or higher.

The application is intended for use by the public and is not designed for use by the police. The application is free of charge and does not require any payment.

The application is developed by the company KPN AG and is based on the company's technology. The application uses the company's radar technology, which is used in the control units and is available in mobile devices.
